Nursery Grant

3 & 4 Year olds eligible for Nursery Grant

Nursery Grant is available for all children from the term after their 3rd birthday until the term in which they are 5 years old.

Nursery Grant pays for 6 x 2½ hour sessions per week i.e. 15 hours (universal) or 10 x 3 hours sessions per week i.e. 30hours (extended) depending on eligibility.

As we can only apply for the grant once per term it is important that you request the number of grant sessions you require for the whole of the term right the from the start, because once the grant numbers have been submitted any extra grant sessions you need you will have to pay for. Any extra time will be charged at £3.50 per half hour.

N.B Child care vouchers are accepted

Additional time in nursery

Please do not bring your child to the nursery more than five minutes before the time you have booked to start and please collect them within five minutes of their session ending. We have to keep very precise records for Ofsted and make sure our staff to child ratio is correct at all times. If you wish to arrive early or collect your child later, you will be charged for the extra time.
