The School Day

| 8.30 - 9.15 am | The children start to arrive and hang up coats and change their shoes to soft indoors ones. |
| 9.15 am | All the children are in and activities start. The older children take part in a short circle time i.e. weather, day, month, date, etc. |

| 11.30 am | End of morning session, parents arrive |

Free-flow/Continuous provision
In line with Ofsted guidelines we operate free-flow provision. This means that the children can chose to go to any room and select a resource of their own choice. All our resources have been carefully selected to enhance children’s learning in all areas of the Early Years Curriculum. The Nursery garden is set up each day with different resources to provide an exciting outdoor learning environment, as well as areas for free play, climbing and exploration. We also plan teacher-led activities around relevant topics e.g. mini-beasts, life cycles, Chinese New Year and other festivals, music and movement. Our plans are on display for parents to read so that they can contribute, where possible, and talk to the children at home about the current topic.
